Cleaningmachines

Cleaning machines for anilox rolls

Anilox rolls vary depending on the application, line count, and material, which means each roll requires a different cleaning method.
Our product range includes several cleaning machines, each featuring its own technology. This ensures you can always choose a machine that suits your production environment and the desired level of cleanliness.
Our machines clean quickly, thoroughly, and consistently. The cycles are short, so screen rollers rarely need to be taken out of production and are immediately ready for use again after cleaning. This allows you to maintain stability in color, coat thickness, and print quality, without unnecessary interruptions.

Cleaning machines

Is it safe for anilox rolls and other parts to use a cleaning machine every day?

Yes, that’s safe. We recommend following a balanced cleaning routine. This involves a combination of daily and periodic cleaning products. If you follow the balanced cleaning routine, you’ll be able to postpone this intensive (machine-based) cleaning for a longer period of time.

What cleaning machines does Clean Solutions Group sell?
What cleaning products are used with the DeepWave?

The DeepWave comes with two specially developed cleaning agents: the DeepWave Cleaner and the DeepWave Descaler. Do you use very specific ink formulations that are quite difficult to dissolve? We can adjust the DeepWave Cleaner’s formulation to improve cleaning effectiveness. For more information, please contact our R&D department

How does the roll of the DeepWave rotate on the machine?

The DeepWave can be used both Inline, and Offline.

  • Inline: Default speed setting for the print unit. The spread of the DeepWave print head can be adjusted manually.
  • Offline: The rotation speed can be adjusted manually, as it depends on the size and diameter of the anilox roller.
Is the DeepWave suitable for cleaning anilox rolls and sleeves in the corrugated cardboard industry?

Yes, the Deepwave can be used here, but it depends on the printing press. For more information, please contact our customer service department.

Our customer specifically wants equipment that they can use in the machines. Is the DeepWave suitable for that?

The DeepWave is particularly well-suited for BOBST machines, since it requires minimal space. It gives you some insight into how it appears inside the machine.

Are cleaning fluids required in the BioJet In-Press?

No, no cleaning fluids are required. This machine uses powder to clean the Anilox rolls.
The BioJet In-Press feeds the powder into the cells, cleaning them from the inside out. We recommend a maximum of 240 lines for the corrugated cardboard industry.

Can you clean multiple rolls at the same time in a single cycle with the Jet-Flow?

Yes, that is possible. The number of rolls you can clean in one cycle depends on the size of the rolls and the size of the machine. Do you have small rolls? Then you can probably put 3 or 4 rolls in the machine per cleaning cycle. Don't have a cleaning machine yet, or do your current rolls not fit in the machine? Clean Solutions Group can supply a customized machine based on your requirements and the size of your rolls.

What type of rubber is used on the blue rollers in the Jet-Flow?

This rubber has been specially developed for chemical resistance and has a carefully selected hardness. This ensures that the cleaning fluid is effectively rubbed into the cells, resulting in maximum cleaning performance.

You can find more information about the Jet-Flow here

Does the grid roller remain wet after a high-pressure cleaning cycle with the Jet-Flow?

No, there is also a drying cycle built in. It includes a built-in fan that starts immediately after the high-pressure cycle.

Which cleaning agent do you recommend for cleaning with a Heating Bucket?

The Anilox Periodic Special. Use this in combination with the Heating Bucket for periodic cleaning. It can be used once a week or once every two weeks.

How long does a cleaning cycle take with a Heating Bucket?

About an hour, depending on the level of contamination.
