Can Anilox Power Boost be used as a cleaning product for Deep Cleaning?

The Anilox Power Boost can be used as a deep cleaner in many situations. Originally, it is an "emergency cleaner," once there are printing problems to bring the anilox rolls back to optimum volume. But the product has such good penetrating action deep into the cells of the anilox roll that the result is comparable to that of deep cleaning.

Does Clean Solutions Group have a biodegradable cleaning range for anilox rolls and parts?

All raw materials used by CSG in its products are biodegradable.

Many water-based daily cleaners must be diluted before being used to clean anilox rollers/ printing plates/parts. What is the best way to do this?

We offer many ways to easily dilute the product for use at your location:

  • Dosatron -> ready-to-use filling in buckets
  • Autodose system -> automatic dosing system linked to each printing unit of a printing machine
  • Central dosing installation -> tapping point available at each printing machine transported from 1 location (ready-to-use)
Are your products safe for the food industry?

Yes! We can provide documentation showing their suitability for use in the food industry.

Can you advise which type of product is best for dissolving water-based ink, on stainless steel material, where the printing plates are cleaned? Our competitors use Chespa inks.

A concentrated product in gel form would be the best solution, such as our Buster P. This is a slightly viscous agent. Apply the product with a sponge, let it soak for 10 minutes, rub again with a sponge and rinse with water.

The products used in the labeling industry contain hazardous goods 9 times out of 10, especially in ultrasonic machines. Is there a product available that does not contain hazardous materials and still produces good results?

Our R&D department is currently developing a non-hazardous variant of our product Ultrasonic Cleaner. We expect to have more results within a few months!

Is the "no hazards version" of the Ultrasonic Cleaner safe for aluminum?

We are currently still in the testing phase to make sure everything is working properly, but initial results show that the product is safe for aluminum.

What kind of product can be used instead of the Buster RC?

The Anilox Power Boost is a good alternative option. If you let the Buster RC sit for too long, it will dry up. With the Anilox Power Boost, this is not the case.

Can Anilox After Care be used after long-term calcium build-up?

In this situation, the amount of calcium is too high. We always recommend using the Anilox After Care to be used after every thorough cleaning, or even once a week (at the end of the week) to prevent calcium clogging and spots on the anilox roller.

Is the Anilox After Care the same product as the BioClean Acidic 501?

They are similar products, but preference is given to Anilox After Care.

Do you supply/sell the baking soda needed for the BioJet InPress and BioJet Cabinet cleaning machines?

Yes! It's called Armex.

Cleaning machines

Is it safe for anilox rolls and other parts to use a cleaning machine every day?

It is safe to use a cleaner every day. However, we are convinced that with a good cleaning routine with daily and periodic cleaning agents, the deep cleaning routine does not need to be carried out daily. It can be postponed for a longer period..

What types of cleaning machines are recommended by Clean Solutions Group?
  • DeepWave
  • Heating bucket
  • OptiClean
  • BioJet Inpress
  • BioJet Cabinet
Do machines have one HS code or per part?

Machinery is classified under one HS code.

What cleaning agents can be used in the DeepWave?

The DeepWave has a specific cleaner called DeepWave Cleaner. In some cases, the customer uses very specific ink recipes that are quite difficult to solve. We can then modify the recipe of the DeepWave Cleaner to improve the cleaning effectiveness.

How does the roll of the DeepWave rotate on the machine?

The DeepWave can be used both Inline, and Offline.

  • Inline: Standard speed rotation of the pressure unit. The spread of the DeepWave's head can be adjusted manually.
  • Offline: The rotation speed can be adjusted manually, as it depends on the size and diameter of the grid roll.
Can the DeepWave be used for the corrugated industry?

It depends on what kind of printing machines the customer has, the "trolley" is always placed outside the machine. The rail is quite small and can be placed inside the machine.

Can you put the head of the DeepWave machine directly on the roll?

Yes, the head is the only part in contact with the Anilox roller. The rail is attached to the machine somewhere. What you need is about 40 cm of space to ensure that it can be attached. The distance should be measured beforehand to make sure there is enough space.

Our customer specifically wants equipment that they can use in the machines. Is the DeepWave suitable for that?

Especially for BOBST machines, this can be used because it requires limited space. It gives you some insight into how it is displayed in the machine.

Are cleaning fluids required in the BioJet InPress?

No, no cleaning fluids are required. This machine requires powder for cleaning the Anilox rolls.
The powder can be introduced into the cells and cleans the cells from the inside. We recommend up to 240 lines for the corrugated industry.

Can you clean multiple rollers simultaneously in one cycle with the OptiClean?

Yes, you can. It depends on the size of the rolls, and the size of the machine how many you can clean at a time in a cycle. If there are small rolls, you might be able to put 3 or 4 rolls in the machine per cleaning cycle. Clean Solutions Group can provide a customized machine depending on your needs and the size of your rolls.

What type of rubber is used on the blue rollers in the OptiClean?

This is a specific type of rubber that is chemically resistant , with a specific hardness that ensures that the cleaning fluid is optimally rubbed into the cells, for optimal performance.

Does the anilox roller stay wet after a high-pressure cleaning cycle with the OptiClean?

No, there is also a drying cycle built in. It includes a built-in fan that starts immediately after the high-pressure cycle.

What detergent do you recommend for cleaning with a Heating Bucket?hine?

The Anilox Periodic Special. This can be used for periodic cleaning. This can be used once a week or once every two weeks.

How long does a cleaning cycle with a Heat Tank take?

About an hour.

Safety

Are your products safe to use in the food industry?

Our cleaning agents can be used safely in the food industry. We can provide supporting documentation upon request.

Cleansing routine

How can Clean Solutions Group help me optimize my cleaning routine?

Every need is different. Make an appointment with one of our representatives to discuss your personal situation.

What does Clean Solutions Group mean by a total cleaning concept? And what are the benefits?

Our total cleaning concept is a customized, self-service cleaning routine based on an efficient daily and periodic cleaning routine. A cleaning routine designed to meet the specific needs of each individual customer will result in time savings (less downtime) as well as financial benefits.

When is an anilox roller maintenance necessary?

Maintenance on an anilox roll is necessary as soon as there are printing problems. This can be prevented by performing regular volume measurement on an anilox roll to monitor volume capacity. If the measured volume falls below the established lower limit, deep cleaning of the anilox roll is required. This prevents acute printing problems and ensures printing quality. Correct application of the daily cleaner is therefore essential to delay deep cleaning.

Customer Service

Where can I go if I have a complaint or suggestion?

Understanding our customers' perspectives is very valuable to our growth and improvement. It would be greatly appreciated if you would take the time to share feedback with us.

Transport

What carriers does CSG work with?

CSG uses a number of preferred suppliers for shipments depending on destination and order size:

  • BeNeLux: DGL
  • EU: Mainfreight
  • Smaller shipments (no DG): FedEx
  • Overseas shipments: TotalCare
How are transportation charges calculated?

Shipping costs depend on the zip code and weight of the shipment and are determined by the carrier.

For Flexoclean products, we choose to add additional shipping insurance. This is 3% of the shipment.

Production

Where are Clean Solutions Group's products manufactured?

Clean Solutions Group's cleaning products are made in our own production facility in Heijningen, the Netherlands.

Ordering and Delivery

How can I check the status of my order?

Our Customer Service colleagues have all relevant and most recent information about your order. If you have any questions about your order and delivery, please contact them at: customerservice@cleansolutionsgroup.eu

What ordering options are available?

We prefer orders via email so that we can attach the email to the order as additional information and reference.

Does CSG work with minimum purchase quantities?

Clean Solutions Group does not work with a minimum order amount, but we use minimum order quantities per product. For one product this is a 25KG can, the other time a box of 2x1KG, 3x1KG or 4x1KG. So the minimum order quantity is different for each product. For more information on minimum order quantities contact customer service.

What delivery times does CSG maintain?

Products in stock are shipped within 5 business days. For products not in stock, we maintain a minimum shipping time of 10 business days.

However, the form and content of the order may affect shipping and delivery times.

How long will it take to get my products?

This depends on location. From experience we know that within the BeNeLux -after collection by the carrier- it is usually delivered within 1 working day.

For other destinations, Mainfreight's overview of transit times provides a guideline.

Stock

How long can I keep my cleaning supplies in stock?

We guarantee the quality of our products for at least 1 year! After this time we can no longer guarantee the quality.

Testing and measuring

What is the difference between the Troika Anicam and the Ravol?

The Ravol is less expensive, but is onlyintendedforvolume measurements. The Anicam givesabroaderandmore completepicture of the overallcondition of the anilox.

Anilox cleaning

Are all anilox rolls the same and can any cleaning product be used on any anilox roll?

As with almost any product, the materials used can affect quality. This also applies to anilox rolls, so not every anilox roll is the same. The surface tension and porosity of ceramics can affect the effectiveness and quality of the cleaning result.

A secure measurement of the equipment in place is necessary to recommend proper daily and periodic cleaning.

What is the best way to clean UV inks in mechanical machines for Anilox rolls and parts?

The Anilox Cleaner is our basic cleaner for this problem. If you want to clean manually, the Anilox Power Boost is a good option. If the results are not as expected, we can help test alternatives.

How important is the sponge when cleaning anilox rolls?

Our sponge is very important. It is used for rubbing in the cleaning solution, but also for absorbing the dissolved ink, thus providing double functionality.

Can brushes replace the sponge?

For cleaning with a liquid, we do not recommend the use of brushes. If you were to clean with a gel, this would not be a problem (high viscosity cleaner).

Parts and plates cleaning

What product can we use for cleaning machine parts contaminated with solvent-based PU inks in a parts washer?

We recommend our FC9122; it is ready to use, but make sure it is not used on rubber parts. Also, the valves in the cleaner should be made of Teflon or Viton material.

What is best to use for cleaning sheets in the corrugated industry?

Our HQ Power SP is very effective in this case.

But beware! If a lot of silver/gold ink is used, we recommend a dilution of 1:5 instead of 1:10 for best results.
